Code of Conduct

This is what makes the room feel the way it does. It's short, and we mean all of it.

We're a female-centered learning space for women and FLINTA persons. The whole point is that you can arrive without being prepared, ask the question you think is too basic, and leave more technically confident than you came. That only works if everyone holds up the same few things.

Our values

  1. Depth with accessibility

We aim to engage deeply with the technical side of AI. We don’t avoid complexity — we explain it in accessible ways, and we slow down when needed without dumbing anything down. Everyone is welcome to grow into the depth.

  2. Openness without pressure

You don’t need to arrive fully prepared or confident. Curiosity, willingness to engage and respect for others are what matter. Beginners are welcome, and the ambition of the group stays high.

  3. Learning by doing

We focus on understanding how AI works in practice: hands-on exploration, technical concepts and workflows, learning from experimentation and mistakes. We move from theory to application.

  4. Sharing is caring

This community lives from contribution. You’re invited to share an insight or a technical experience, present a topic you’re curious about, or bring an open question or challenge. Contribution isn’t about expertise — it’s about engagement.

  5. Knowledge without ego or gatekeeping

We value explanations that empower. No talking down. No showing off. Nobody gets made to feel "not technical enough". Depth and kindness go hand in hand.

  6. Female-centered, respectful and open

This is a female-centered learning space shaped by collaborative learning styles and mutual support. Male allies are welcome in supportive roles that align with the community’s purpose. This is about learning together — not exclusion.

  7. No sales, no self-promotion

This community is not a space for client acquisition or sales. No pitches, no lead generation, no promotional agendas. Knowledge sharing comes first.

What we agree to

By being part of this community, we agree to:

  1. Engage with curiosity and respect
  2. Support technical depth through accessible explanations
  3. Ask questions and share knowledge generously
  4. Avoid ego-driven behaviour and gatekeeping
  5. Keep the space free from sales and self-promotion
  6. Contribute to a warm, focused learning atmosphere
  7. Make no recordings, so the space stays safe for open questions

Why we don't record

We don't record sessions. Not the talks, not the discussion, not the screens.

It's a deliberate trade. A recording would let more people watch later — but it would also mean that every question you ask is permanent and searchable. The whole value of this room is that you can say "I don't understand this" out loud. So we keep it in the room.

Slides and written material get shared when the speaker is happy for us to.

If something goes wrong

If someone makes you feel unwelcome, talked down to, or sold at — tell us. Speak to any of the hosts at an event, message us in the WhatsApp group, or write to a.scheffler@solimi.ai.

We'd rather hear about something small than have you quietly stop coming.

We don’t lower the bar — we help each other reach it.
