Become a supporter

This community runs on people who do a bit more than show up. All roles are voluntary, all of them are genuinely needed, and none of them require you to be an AI expert.

You don't need to commit forever. Helping with one event counts.

Where we need you

Marketing & Communication

Make sure the right women hear about this.

What you'd do

  • Promote upcoming events — LinkedIn posts, the WhatsApp group, your own network
  • Report back afterwards, so people who missed one can still see what happened
  • Help write event descriptions that sound like us, not like a conference brochure
  • Keep the LinkedIn page and group alive between events

Good fit if you

  • Enjoy writing, or enjoy the bit where a good post actually reaches someone
  • Know your way around LinkedIn
  • Don't need sign-off before posting — we trust you

Time: a few hours around each event.

Event Management

Turn an idea for a session into a room full of people.

What you'd do

  • Find and book locations — we're in-person first, so this is the bottleneck
  • Organise catering: snacks, coffee, the get-together afterwards
  • Run registrations on Luma and handle check-in on the day
  • Keep the practical details straight: timings, equipment, who brings what

Good fit if you

  • Like making things actually happen on a date, at a place
  • Are calm about logistics and good at follow-up
  • Have a venue contact, or work somewhere with a room we could use

Time: concentrated around each event — heavier in the two weeks before, quiet after.

Speakers

Share what you've figured out — live or online.

What you'd do

  • Run a hands-on session on something you've actually done with AI
  • Share your experience, including what went wrong
  • Be available for questions during and after

Good fit if you

  • Have built, tested, broken or deployed something and can show how
  • Are willing to explain it accessibly, without ego
  • Want to practise presenting in a room that is genuinely on your side

What you don't need

  • To be the leading expert on your topic
  • A polished slide deck — in fact, please don't. We're hands-on by default: labs and workshops, not lectures
  • Perfect English. If German is more comfortable for you, we switch

Time: one session, plus prep. Online sessions are typically 45 minutes at lunchtime; in-person workshops run longer.

What's in it for you

  • Visibility that isn't self-promotion. Our no-sales rule protects the room, and it also means the credit you get here is real.
  • Practice. Presenting, organising, writing — in a low-stakes, supportive setting.
  • The network. You get to know everyone, not just the person you sat next to.
  • The flywheel. Beginners feel safe, self-starters level up, experts stay engaged. Supporters are what keeps it turning.

One note on the rules

Supporters are bound by the same values as everyone else: no sales, no self-promotion, no gatekeeping. Helping out is not a route to pitching the group. The full Code of Conduct is short and worth reading.
