Spend a morning on the attacking side
Security holes keep turning up in the news — most recently in PHP, one of the most widely deployed languages on the web. So let's find out for ourselves: how secure are AI systems actually, today? How hard is it to get one to ignore its own rules and do something it was built not to do? And how do we design AI so that doesn't happen?
Female AImpowerment and AI Village invite you to an interactive AI security hackathon.
For one morning you play the hacker. Your mission: trick an AI system, get around its safety mechanisms, and push it into behaviour it isn't supposed to show.
We provide a safe training environment with a lot of small challenges. Each one takes roughly 5 to 20 minutes. You decide which ones you take on and how far you get.
Along the way you learn, very concretely, where the weak points of AI systems are, how prompt injections work, and why AI security keeps getting more important.
Come curious. Think like a hacker. Learn how AI really works.
What you'll take away
- A working understanding of how prompt injection actually works
- A feel for where AI systems are genuinely fragile — and where they aren't
- Practical guidance on using AI safely in your own work
- The experience of having broken something on purpose, in a safe environment

Before you come
Read the event material. It is an introduction to the practice platform, a walkthrough of the first challenge, and a guide to using AI tools as a learning aid — so you can start hacking at 10:00 rather than reading.
